We offer

A lovingly restored Mill on Dresden's western periphery, detailed and furnished with rural antiquities from the baroque and Victorian times

A restaurant with 110 seats in 4 dining rooms, each of which possesses a flair of it's own.

A select menu, in keeping with the expectations
of the guests in relation to a visit to a mill, meaning that our meals are hearty and generous.

Forgotten Dishes, that are to be found on regularly changing seasonal menu. For example: Stinging nettle-soup in the spring and Dishes out of elderberries in the autumn.
We recommended you always reserve table, as our establishment is well visited.

Our seating is almost identical to the one used in the original restaurant. Local carpenters from Rabenau did the elaborate turning and weaving.
During the summer months we have an additional 120 seats with service, as well as 150 seats with self-service.
The Zschoner Mühle has a car park, that is adapted to the landscape, with 60 car spaces with a turning point suitable for buses.

Wheelchair users are among our patrons, as we have additional parking spaces in front of the main entrance. A wheelchair-friendly lavatory is located in the extension of the barn. The entrance area and 2 dining rooms have no or only a small threshold. We are desribed to be a wheelchair-friendly restaurant by the disabled rights organisation.
Dogs are permitted in our building, as long as they do attack other guests or personnel or disturb either.

We accept Cash, Debit- and Creditcards as payment.
The guided tours performed by the owner, Thomas Winkler, the author of the childrens books, Eva Johne and Rudi Menzel, a former teacher are almost almost legend. They are a combination of a thrilling experience, a show and, of course, transfer of knowledge. Each tour has a duration of about an hour. The cabaretistic display has until now never failed to entertain each and every guest. Many groups use these to not only make their celebration gastronomically unforgettable.

Up until now the executive board of the BMW AG, the prime minister of saxony a.D. Kurt Biedenkopf and many others partaken in a tour in conjunction with their celebration.
A tour is 3,10 € per adult 2,10 € per child. A tour is held with a minimum of 15 people. Smaller groups get combined.
